Fumbled the magnifier twice trying to hold it steady. Realized why it looks different under sunlight – those ridges throw shadows when light shifts. Not just pretty dots – actual tiny canyons on my wrist!

Met up with Sarah who collects minerals. Told her about the space rock theory while chewing salad.
