My phone got queue position #850 – garbage. Tablet said #1200 – worse. But the laptop… #27! Nearly dropped it. Made coffee to stop myself from touching anything. Queue moved slowly then BAM – in at 6:17am. Slammed my mouse on August 14th before even looking at dates. Didn’t check time slots, just picked the first 2pm option it showed. Autofill blasted through name/email. Smashed the payment button. Got that beautiful confirmation screen. Total time inside site? Maybe 11 seconds.
What actually worked:
- Multiple devices seriously boosted odds – laptop won
- That 3-second pause after the hour was crucial
- Having payment saved let me bulldoze through checkout
- Accepting ANY date/time first, then checking details later
Still can’t believe my janky old laptop pulled through. Went back to sleep feeling like a ninja. Moral of the story? Prepare like crazy and move fast when it counts.
