Pink Legend 11s Review: See How Good It Actually Performs!

by Marvin Connie

So I finally got my hands on the Pink Legend 11s yesterday after waiting two weeks for shipping. Let me walk you through how I tested these bad boys from start to finish.

Pink Legend 11s Review: See How Good It Actually Performs!

Opening the Box

Ripped open that cardboard package like a kid on Christmas morning. First thing that hit me – that neon pink color is WAY brighter in person than the product photos showed. Almost glows in the dark! Lined them up side-by-side with my old running shoes and immediately noticed the thicker sole cushion. Felt like marshmallows when I squeezed ’em.

First Test Run

Took ’em for a spin around the block right after breakfast. Weather was kinda crappy – drizzling and 55°F. Here’s what happened:

  • Started slow on pavement: Felt like running on clouds for first 5 mins
  • Tried sudden stops: Foot didn’t slide forward like in my last pair
  • Hit wet patches: Nearly ate concrete when taking sharp corner
  • After 2 miles: Pink dye bled onto my stupid white socks

My toes felt squished near the front during downhill stretches. Had to loosen the laces twice mid-run. Weird ’cause I ordered my normal size.

Putting Through Hell Week

Decided to really torture test these babies. Wore them for:

  • 5am dog walks in muddy park
  • Grocery runs carrying heavy bags
  • Three treadmill sessions (including that stupid incline program)
  • Dance class when my usual shoes were MIA

After seven days of abuse, here’s the damage report:

Good stuff: Zero sole separation anywhere. Cushion still feels springy when I jump around the kitchen. Even stepped on Lego – barely felt it.

Bad stuff: That bright pink faded to dirty salmon color where my pinky toe rubs. Got permanent grass stains near the heels. Left shoe tongue keeps sliding sideways.

Final Verdict

Washed them in the machine yesterday (cold water, gentle cycle). They survived but came out looking sad – color splotchy as hell now. Still using them for quick errands, but switched back to my clunkers for long runs. Wouldn’t pay full price again unless they fix the sizing and dye issues.
