Okay, so I’ve been eyeing the Patek Philippe Ellipse for a while now. It’s just so… different. Not your usual watch shape, you know? So, I finally decided to take the plunge and get my hands on one. This is my experience with it.

First thing I did was, obviously, hit up the internet. I spent hours, and I mean hours, looking at pictures, reading reviews, basically becoming an Ellipse expert overnight. I wanted to know everything. The different models, the metals, the dials… everything.
Then came the hard part – actually finding one. I went to a couple of authorized dealers, you know, just to see them in person. Felt them on my wrist. It’s one thing to see a picture online, but it’s totally different when it’s actually there.
- Tried on a few different ones.
- Some were too small, some were too big.
- Felt like Goldilocks, ha!
Making My Choice
After what felt like forever (probably just a few weeks, really), I finally settled on the one I wanted. It was a rose gold one, with a chocolate brown dial. Just stunning. Simple, elegant, but definitely a statement piece.
The buying process itself was pretty smooth. The people at the store were super helpful, answered all my (many) questions. Walked me through everything. It was a whole experience, not just buying a watch.
Now, I’ve been wearing it for a while, and I gotta say, I’m loving it. It’s so comfortable, and I get compliments on it all the time. It’s not flashy, but it’s definitely noticeable. People are always asking about it, curious about the shape.

It’s definitely a conversation starter. And, honestly, it just makes me feel good wearing it. Like I’ve got a little piece of art on my wrist. Totally worth it.
