Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Pantone Color Emerald Green” popping up everywhere lately, and I wanted to mess around with it myself. Here’s how I went about playing with this color.

First, I needed to figure out what exactly is emerald green. I mean, I know what green looks like, but there are a million shades, right? So, I looked it up. Turns out, it’s this really rich, vibrant green, kind of like the gemstone.
Finding the Right Shade
Next, I wanted to actually use this color.I opened up my favorite design program. I usually just eyeball colors, but this time I wanted to be precise.
- I found the color picker tool.
- I typed in the hex code I’d found earlier, which is basically a code that tells the computer exactly what color to show.
- Boom! There it was, emerald green, in all its glory.
Playing Around
Then the fun part, i started use the color, at first, I created a simple square, filled it with the emerald green. It looked pretty cool all by itself, but I wanted to see what it looked like with other colors.
I added a circle, and filled with a pale yellow. It looks great. Then I also try put a dark purple beside the emerald green, And you know what, I kind of liked that even better! It was this really cool, almost regal-looking combination.

My Takeaway
Honestly, I spent a good hour just messing around with different shapes and color combinations. It’s amazing how many different vibes you can get just by changing the colors around the emerald green. Emerald green is super versatile. It can be elegant, playful, or even a little mysterious, depending on what you pair it with. I’m definitely going to be using this color more often!
