Okay, so I saw this trend going around about recreating Olivia Dunne’s looks, and I thought, “Why not?” I mean, her style is pretty cute and seems easy enough to copy. So, today’s mission was the “Olivia Dunne dress” look.
First, I scrolled through her Instagram and TikTok to find the exact dress. It’s, like, a simple, bodycon mini dress. The key is finding one that’s the right color and has that same, snug fit.
Next, I dug through my closet. I was optimistic because it looked so basic. I have tons of black dresses, simple dresses. Finding similar one shouldn’t be a problem.
- Tried on a black mini dress. Nope, too loose.
- Another one? Too long.
- Found a bodycon dress, finally! But… it was the wrong color. Sigh.
So, my closet was a bust. Time for plan B: online shopping!
Hit The Shop
I opened a few shopping apps on my phone. Then typed “bodycon mini dress” into the search bar and… bam! Tons of options popped up. I scrolled and scrolled, comparing colors and styles to the one Olivia wore.
Finally, I found one that looked pretty close. It was the right color, the right length, and looked like it would hug my curves just right. I added to my cart, checked out, and now, I have my dress in my hand!.

Finally, I put my new dress on. And Wow! The dress looks simple, but the result looks good, I love it!
This was a fun little experiment. I’m not sure if I’ll actually wear this look out, but hey, it was fun to play dress-up and try something new!
