Middle Age Men Haircuts: Classic and modern styles, Look here!

by Meredith Sassoon

Okay, so I’ve been rocking the same hairstyle for, like, 20 years. My wife finally put her foot down – bless her heart – and said it was time for a change. She kept showing me pictures of, you know, “middle age men haircuts,” and I gotta admit, some of them didn’t look half bad. So, I decided to take action finally.

Middle Age Men Haircuts: Classic and modern styles, Look here!

First thing I did was hit up Google Images. Just typed in “middle age men haircuts” and scrolled through a million pictures. I saved a few that looked decent, nothing too crazy, you know? Just something…updated.

Choosing the Right Style

  • I looked for styles that seemed easy to, well, style. I’m not spending an hour in the bathroom every morning.
  • I also considered my hair type. It’s getting a little thinner on top, so I needed something that wouldn’t make that super obvious.
  • I avoided anything too trendy. I’m not 20 anymore, and I don’t want to look like I’m trying to be.

Then, I booked an appointment at a new barbershop. The old place was fine, but I felt like I needed a fresh pair of eyes, you know? A new perspective, that is.

At the barbershop, I showed the barber the pictures I’d saved. He nodded along, asked a few questions about how much time I wanted to spend styling it, and then he got to work.

He used clippers on the sides and back, but kept it a bit longer on top. He showed me how to use a little bit of product – just a dab, really – to give it some texture and hold.

Honestly, the whole thing took about 30 minutes. And you know what? I actually like it. It’s different, but in a good way. My wife loves it, which is the most important thing. And I gotta say, I feel a little more…put together. It’s amazing what a simple haircut can do!

So, yeah, that’s my haircut adventure. If you’re a middle-aged guy thinking about a change, I say go for it. It’s not as scary as you think, and it might just make you feel a whole lot better. Just did a little search and find a good pic, is my advice.
