Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get a new watch for a while now. Something classy, you know? I’d heard good things about Longines, and since I live in NYC, I figured I’d have plenty of options to check them out in person. So, my hunt for a Longines watch in the city began!

The Initial Research
First things first, I hopped online. I just did some simple searching to see the locations on map. Gotta figure out where to even start, right?
Hitting the Stores
Armed with a list of potential stores, I started my in-person search. It took sometime for me to figure out the subway transfer things. I think it’s the R train then transfer to another line to get off to the 5 Av/53 St station, and I walked to the Longines Boutique.
- The Longines Boutique: Of course, I had to hit up the official boutique. I figured they’d have the best selection and the most knowledgeable staff.
I spent a good hour in the boutique, just browsing and trying on different models. The staff was super helpful, explaining the different movements and features. They weren’t pushy at all, which I appreciated. I had my eye on a couple of models, but I wasn’t quite ready to pull the trigger.
Finally, I thanked the sales associate for their time and headed out, promising to think it over.
Final Decision (Or Lack Thereof!)
Honestly, after all that, I’m still undecided! I narrowed it down to two Longines watches that I really liked. But, I’m still not sure. Maybe after sometime or next week I could go back and try them again.

It’s a big purchase, so I want to be absolutely sure. Maybe I’ll check online reviews again or do a bit more research. It’s such a tough decision when it comes to find the right watch!
