Okay, so I saw this “little girl eyeliner” thing trending, and I was like, “I gotta try this.” I’m no makeup guru, but it looked kinda cute and easy, so why not?
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my usual stuff – you know, foundation, concealer, the basics. I did my base makeup like I normally do, nothing fancy. Just trying to make my skin look somewhat decent, haha.
The Eyeliner Experiment
This is where things got interesting. I took my black liquid eyeliner – the one with the super-thin brush – and started by drawing a line really close to my upper lash line. So far, so good, right? Just like regular eyeliner.
But here’s the twist! Instead of doing a wing that goes up and out, I followed the natural curve of my eye and extended the line downwards a little bit. It felt weird, I’m not gonna lie. It’s like the opposite of what I usually do.
- First try: Total fail. I made the line way too thick and it looked super droopy. I looked more sad than cute.
- Second try: I wiped it off and started again. This time, I focused on making the line thinner and shorter. Better, but still not quite there.
- Third time’s the charm: I finally got it! A thin, slightly downturned line that actually looked kinda sweet and innocent. Who knew?!
Finishing Touches
After that eyeliner drama, the rest was easy. Just pop the white shimmer on top.
I applied mascara and that is all.
Honestly, it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. It’s all about that downward line, and it takes a little practice to get it right. But once you do, it’s a cute, different look. I’d say give it a try! You might surprise yourself.
