Slapped some LV monogram patterns onto that kinda silhouette. Looked kinda heavy, but maybe? Made a note: “Puffer jackets covered in monogram print“. Felt plausible.
My eyes started hurting staring at the screen. Rubbed ’em, looked away. Thought about Kanye’s last few weird kicks. Chunky. Ugly-cool. Took an old LV trainer design, made the sole super thick and platform-like. Blocky. Almost like bricks. Thought, “LV version of those boots construction guys wear? Yeah, maybe.” Saved the file as “LV_Work_Boot_Monster”.
Needed more. Searched through ancient LV lookbooks online. Saw all that fancy luggage, the trunks. What if… what if he made clothes that look like pieces of luggage? Created a super stiff-looking, boxy jacket covered in straps and buckles – like you just unhooked it from a suitcase. Colors were tricky. Default brown monogram felt boring. Threw in some weird washed-out purples and grays I saw in old Yeezy season palettes. Weird clash, but interesting? Saved it, titled “Walking_Trunk_Coat”.
Started feeling like my brain was melting. Made a list in my notebook, real quick:
- Big, puffy monogram jackets (like winter coats from space)
- Chunky-ass platform boots (LV logos on the soles maybe?)
- Clothes made to look like LV hard-case luggage (super stiff fabrics, straps everywhere)
- Strange muted colors mixed with classic monogram brown (gotta have that Yeezy dirt palette)
Put my laptop down. Stared at the designs. Honestly? Half of it probably looks like nonsense in the end. But it felt real while I was doing it, trying to piece together Kanye’s brain and LV’s swag. Total speculation game. Nobody knows, LV ain’t talking. Maybe I got one thing right? Probably not. But man, figuring out that mess was kinda fun, even if it was just playing pretend designer for a morning.
