Okay, so I’ve been hyped about the Jordan 17s coming back in 2024. I mean, these were the shoes when I was younger, and I never got a pair. So, this was my chance! First thing I did was scour the internet for any news, release dates, rumors, anything I could find.
I spent hours on sneaker blogs and forums. It was a mess of speculation, but I finally pieced together a likely release window. Then, I set reminders on my phone, followed a bunch of sneaker accounts on social media, just to make sure I didn’t miss any updates.
The Hunt Begins
When the official announcement finally dropped, I was ready. I knew the exact date and time they were going on sale. The morning of, I woke up super early, like a kid on Christmas. I had multiple websites loaded on my computer and my phone ready to go.
- I tried the official website, of course.
- I had a couple of other sneaker sites open, just in case.
- I even had the app downloaded and ready.
It was a total frenzy. Everything was crashing, websites were lagging, it was pure chaos. I kept refreshing, clicking, praying. My heart was pounding. I got kicked out of the virtual waiting room a couple of times, which was super frustrating.

Finally After what seemed like forever I was in the place.
I was so excited.
Eventually, after a ton of tries, I finally got through! I managed to snag a pair in my size. I checked out as fast as humanly possible, entered my payment info, and hit that “confirm order” button. I almost cried when I saw the confirmation screen.
