Jenna Ortega Hair 2024: Find Your Perfect Hairstyle Now!

by Meredith Sassoon

Okay, so, I’ve been seeing Jenna Ortega’s new hairstyle everywhere lately, and I gotta say, I’m totally obsessed. You know, the one she’s got for Beetlejuice 2? It’s this super cool, kinda shaggy bob with these wispy bangs, and it just looks so effortlessly chic. I decided I had to try it out for myself.

First things first, I gathered some pictures of Jenna. I mean, a lot of pictures. Different angles, different lighting, you name it. I wanted to really understand the cut before I went anywhere near a pair of scissors. Then I booked an appointment with my hairstylist, Sarah. She’s a miracle worker, seriously.

When I got to the salon, I showed Sarah all the pictures I’d saved. We talked about my hair type, face shape, and all that jazz. She pointed out that Jenna’s hair is naturally dark and shiny, and since I had some old highlights, we’d have to take that into account. We decided to go for a slightly longer version of the bob, just so it would suit my face a bit better. Plus I don’t want it too short.

Getting the Cut

  • Chopping it off: Sarah started by sectioning off my hair and then, snip snip! It was a little nerve-wracking seeing all that hair fall to the floor, but exciting at the same time.
  • Shaping the bob: She carefully shaped the bob, making sure it had that slightly angled, textured look that Jenna’s got going on. It’s not a blunt cut, but it’s not super layered either.
  • Bangs time: This was the part I was most excited about. Sarah cut my bangs, made them wispy and kind of piecey. She showed me how to style them, too, which was super helpful.
  • Adding some texture: To give it that effortless, lived-in vibe, Sarah used some texturizing spray and kind of scrunched my hair a bit.

Honestly, I was so thrilled with how it turned out. It’s such a refreshing change from my old, longer hairstyle. It feels so much lighter and bouncier, and it’s surprisingly easy to style. A little bit of product, a quick tousle, and I’m good to go. I even tried to copy Jenna’s super shiny hair by using a shine serum, and it actually worked pretty well!

I’ve been rocking this new ‘do for a few days now, and I’ve gotten so many compliments. It definitely feels like a bold move, but in the best way possible. If you’re thinking about trying out a new hairstyle, I say go for it! It’s just hair, it’ll grow back. But in the meantime, you can have a blast trying out different looks. And who knows, you might just find your new signature style, like I think I have with this Jenna Ortega-inspired bob. I feel like a new woman!
