Okay, so I signed up for Albert Genius a while back, thinking it might be a cool way to manage my money, you know? Turns out, it wasn’t really my cup of tea. So, I needed to cancel it. Here’s how I did it, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.

First, I opened up the Albert app on my phone. I usually just use my fingerprint, it’s pretty convenient. Once I got in, I poked around for a bit trying to find where the account settings were. They weren’t in the most obvious place, I have to say.
Eventually, I tapped on the profile icon. You know, that little circle thingy at the top left of the screen? That took me to another menu. Then I see “Genius Member” on the list and select it.
After that, I clicked the three dots on the top right corner and then I finally saw an option that said “Cancel Membership“.
Then, it tried to convince me to stay with some special offers, but I was determined. I scrolled down and found the option to cancel. I went through with it. I’m pretty sure it’s canceled now. I even got an email confirming it, which was a relief.
So yeah, that’s how I canceled my Albert Genius account. It wasn’t super complicated, but it did take a few steps. If you’re thinking about canceling yours, hopefully, this little story will help you out.
