Alright, so yesterday was a big day—I went to the 2024 Femmy Awards. It was quite the experience, let me tell you.
First off, I had to figure out what to wear. I mean, this is the Femmy Awards, not your average Tuesday night, right? I spent hours digging through my closet, trying on different outfits. Finally, I settled on this classic black dress that I’ve always felt good in. It’s simple but elegant, and I figured it would fit right in.
Getting there was a bit of a hassle. Traffic was crazy, and I was worried I’d be late. But I made it to the Royal Albert Hall just in time. Phew! Stepping onto the red carpet was surreal. Cameras flashing, people looking sharp—it was like being in a movie.
I spotted a few familiar faces in the crowd. There was Simone Ashley, looking stunning as ever. And Gemma Chan and Alexa Chung were there too, turning heads with their outfits. It was cool to see them up close, not just on a screen.
The awards ceremony itself was pretty impressive. Lots of talented folks getting recognized for their work in the fashion industry. It’s amazing to see how much creativity and hard work goes into making the clothes we wear. I was particularly moved by the speeches—some were funny, some were touching, but all of them were inspiring.
- Got all dressed up for the 2024 Femmy Awards.
- Survived the crazy traffic and made it to the Royal Albert Hall.
- Walked the red carpet and felt like a movie star.
- Saw some of my favorite celebrities looking fabulous.
- Enjoyed the awards ceremony and got inspired by the winners.
And oh boy, did I mention Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were there? Talk about a power couple! They just oozed style and charisma. It was definitely a highlight seeing them.
After the ceremony, there was a bit of a mingle session. I got to chat with a few people, even met a couple of designers whose work I admire. It’s always interesting to hear about their creative process and what inspires them. We exchanged a few words, and I even got a couple of photos. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I managed to keep my cool.
Little Things I Noticed
- The red carpet is way more chaotic in person.
- Everyone is super nice, even the big stars.
- There’s a lot of waiting around, but it’s worth it.
- The energy in the room is electric—you can feel the excitement.
All in all, it was a fantastic night. I felt grateful to be there and witness all the magic. It’s not every day you get to be part of something like this. I took loads of photos, naturally. Gotta document these moments, right? I’ll be posting some of them on my Insta later, so keep an eye out for those.
It was a night to remember, for sure. Can’t wait to see what next year’s awards will bring!
