Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Ice Spice girl. Seems like she’s everywhere these days, all over them magazines. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it. She’s on the cover of this one, that one, every magazine you pick up, there she is!
Folks are callin’ her the “People’s Princess of rap,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, I guess. They say she’s got this “fierce and unique fashion sense.” Well, I don’t know nothin’ about fashion, but she sure does wear some colorful clothes and that hair, that cinnamon hair, it’s somethin’ else, you know? Like a big ol’ scoop of ice cream sittin’ on her head. Funny how her name is Ice Spice and she’s holdin’ an ice cream cone on one of them covers.
- They even got artists drawin’ pictures of her for album covers. Keely somethin’-or-other, they said her name was.
- And she’s talkin’ to all these big magazines, like Paper Magazine and Billboard. Big-time stuff, I reckon.
- And the pictures! Some fella named Christian Cody takin’ pictures of her in New York City. She looks all serious in some of them, all smiles in others.
Now, they say she’s singin’ this “drill rap” music. I ain’t never heard of that before. They say it’s got them “trap-influenced beats” and “gangsta rap-style lyrics.” Lord knows what that all means. But I guess the young folks like it. She’s one of the few women doin’ it, they say. Breakin’ barriers, that’s what they call it.
I saw on that internet thingy, someone posted somethin’ about her back in April of 2023. Seems like she’s been at this for a while now, even though I just started hearin’ about her. And then there’s another post from April 18th, talkin’ about her again. Folks are likin’ her and talkin’ about her, that’s for sure. Thousands of likes and comments! Can you imagine? That’s more folks than live in my whole town!
They say she just started out in 2021, not too long ago. And now she’s on all them magazines, even got some famous hip hop photographer takin’ pictures of her for somethin’ called “Complex’s digital cover.” That sounds fancy, don’t it? I tell ya, this girl is goin’ places.
She’s wearin’ all kinds of different outfits in these pictures. Sometimes she looks all dolled up, and sometimes she’s just lookin’ regular, like she could be walkin’ down the street. But that hair, that cinnamon hair, it always stands out. Makes her easy to spot, I guess.
And she’s workin’ with all sorts of people too. They mentioned a model named Tyla Grace. Breakin’ barriers, they said. I guess that’s important, showin’ the world that anybody can do anything they set their mind to.
So yeah, this Ice Spice girl, she’s somethin’ else. All over them magazines, singin’ that drill rap music, and lookin’ like a big ol’ scoop of ice cream with that hair. I don’t know much about this music or these magazines, but I can tell you one thing: this girl is makin’ a name for herself. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, no matter where you come from or what you do.
It just goes to show ya, hard work and a little bit of that somethin’-somethin’ can take you a long way. From a nobody to the “People’s Princess of rap” in just a few years. That’s somethin’, ain’t it?
