Now, I usually shop at Ulta. It’s my go-to for most of my beauty needs. They’ve got a good mix of high-end and drugstore brands, which I love. It’s like a one-stop shop for me. I figured, “Hey, Ulta has everything else, surely they must have Rare Beauty, right?”
I hopped in my car and drove over to my local Ulta, feeling pretty confident that I’d find what I was looking for. I walked in, and made a beeline for the prestige makeup section. I scanned the shelves, looking for that signature Rare Beauty packaging. I circled around, checked all the aisles, even the new arrivals, but nothing. Not a single Rare Beauty product in sight.
I was a bit bummed, I have to admit. I really thought Ulta would carry the brand. I went up to one of the sales associates, a really nice girl named Jessica, and asked her if they had any Rare Beauty products in the back or maybe they were just sold out.
Jessica smiled kindly and said, “Unfortunately, we don’t carry Rare Beauty here at Ulta. It’s exclusively sold at Sephora and on their own website.”
Well, that explained it. I thanked Jessica and walked out of Ulta, feeling a little disappointed but also kind of impressed by Rare Beauty’s exclusivity. It made the brand feel even more special, you know?

So, there you have it. My little adventure to find Rare Beauty at Ulta. Even though I didn’t find what I was looking for, I still learned something new. And hey, it gave me an excuse to make a trip to Sephora later that week!
