Okay, so I’ve been eyeing those Dior Mini and Midi bags for a while, you know, the ones that are just everywhere on Instagram? I finally decided to take the plunge and see what the hype was all about. Let me tell you, the whole process was a bit of an adventure.
The Hunt Begins
First things first, I scoured the Dior website. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of online window shopping? I spent a good hour just browsing, comparing the different styles, colors, and materials. The Lady Dior, the Saddle bag, the 30 Montaigne… so many choices! I finally narrowed it down to a few I really liked, a Mini Lady Dior in blush pink and a Midi Saddle bag in that classic Dior Oblique canvas.
Store Visit (and Some Panic)
Next, I decided to hit up the actual Dior boutique. I figured I needed to see these beauties in person, feel the leather, you know, get the full experience. Walking in was a little intimidating, I’m not gonna lie. Everything was so pristine and elegant. I asked a sales associate to show me the bags I’d been eyeing online.
Then came the moment of truth – trying them on. I slung the Mini Lady Dior over my shoulder. It was adorable, no doubt, but I started to wonder if it was too small. Could it even fit my phone and wallet? I tried the Midi Saddle bag next. The size felt much better, more practical for everyday use. But then I started second-guessing the Oblique canvas – was it too trendy? Would I get tired of it?
The Decision (and a Deep Breath)
I paced around the store for a good 20 minutes, going back and forth between the two bags. The sales associate was incredibly patient (bless her heart). Finally, after much deliberation (and a few deep breaths), I made my decision. I went with the Midi Saddle bag in the Dior Oblique canvas. It just felt more “me” and I knew I’d get more use out of it.
The Unboxing
Getting home and unboxing it was the best part! Ripping open that signature Dior packaging, unfolding the tissue paper, and finally holding my new bag – pure joy! I immediately transferred all my essentials into it, and it fit everything perfectly, with room to spare.
Rocking My New Bag
I’ve been wearing it everywhere since – to brunch, to the grocery store, even on a quick coffee run. It just elevates any outfit, even a simple jeans-and-tee combo. And I get so many compliments on it! It was definitely a splurge, but I’m so happy with my purchase. It’s a classic piece that I know I’ll cherish for years to come. If was all my hard work, but was it worth it? Definetely yes!
