Corset and Bloomers fashion: where to buy the best? We have reviewed the top brands!

Okay, so, today I want to talk about my little adventure with corsets and bloomers. It’s not something I usually do, but hey, life’s about trying new things, right?

It all started when I was browsing online, looking for some unique clothing. I stumbled upon a website that had these amazing vintage-looking corsets and bloomers. I was immediately drawn to them – they just looked so cool and different.

Now, I knew nothing about corsets, and I definitely hadn’t worn bloomers since I was a kid. But I was curious. So, I started doing some research. I read a bunch of articles and watched some videos about different corset makers. There was this one guy, Mr. Pearl, who seemed to be the top dog in the corset world. Apparently, he makes corsets for all the big fashion houses in Paris. Fancy, huh?

I also learned that there are different types of corsets. Some are all about that hourglass figure, while others focus on making the rib cage look smaller. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I figured I’d just go for it and see what happens.

Finding a place to buy a corset was a whole other story. There are so many options out there! I checked out a few different online stores and even looked at some physical shops. It was overwhelming, to be honest.

Eventually, I decided to go with a brand called French Meadows Corsets. They seemed to make good quality stuff, and I liked that they had a lot of different styles to choose from. As for the bloomers, I just grabbed a pair from the same website. I wasn’t too picky about those.

When my order arrived, I was so excited! I tried on the corset first. It was definitely a weird feeling at first, but I got used to it after a while. It did give me a nice shape, I have to admit. The bloomers were super comfy, though. They felt like pajamas, but a bit more, uh, poofy.

  • Trying it on: This was the most interesting part. Putting on a corset is not as easy as it looks! It took me a while to figure out all the laces and hooks.
  • Wearing it around: I wore the corset and bloomers around the house for a day, just to see how it felt. It was definitely a different experience. I felt more, I don’t know, upright?
  • Taking it off: Ah, sweet relief! Taking off the corset was like taking a deep breath after holding it for a long time.

The End Result

So, would I wear a corset and bloomers again? Maybe! It was a fun experiment, and I do like how the corset makes me look. But it’s not something I’d wear every day. It’s more of a special occasion kind of thing. Or maybe just for when I’m feeling a little adventurous. I heard that corset is still a thing in 2024, you know. Who knows, maybe I’ll start a new trend around here!
