Chanel Boutique SantAndrea Milan: Is It Worth a Visit? (Honest Review)

by Alice Browne

That Chanel, you know, that fancy brand, it’s somethin’ else. I heard they got a new store in Milan, right on that Sant’Andrea street. Number 10, I think it is. Fancy folks call it a “twin boutique.” Whatever that means. Sounds like they sellin’ double the stuff!

Chanel Boutique SantAndrea Milan: Is It Worth a Visit? (Honest Review)

My granddaughter, she’s always on that phone of hers, showed me pictures. Said it’s where the rich folks go. Via Sant’Andrea 10, she kept repeatin’. That’s in Milan, a big city somewhere far away. They got all them fancy clothes and shiny things. She said this Chanel store got it all: clothes, glasses, them watches that cost more than my whole house, and even them smelly perfumes. My oh my.

She went on and on about how it’s the first “twin” one in Milan. Like they had a baby store and now it’s twins! Chanel, keepin’ it in the family, I guess. They even got people workin’ there, “Chanel advisors” they call ’em. Fancy name for shopkeepers, if you ask me. But they’re supposed to answer all your questions. Sounds like they treat you real nice in there. If you got the money, that is.

Now, I ain’t never been to Milan. Ain’t never been to no Chanel neither. But I hear things. You gotta call this number, 02 7788 6999, if you wanna buy somethin’. Or maybe that’s just to ask questions, I don’t know. They got a whole bunch of rules and ways of doin’ things, these city folks. Some people say it’s better to buy Chanel in Europe to save some money or somethin’ about taxes. I don’t know nothin’ about that. My granddaughter tried to explain it to me once, somethin’ about gettin’ money back. Too complicated for me.

I seen pictures of that street, Sant’Andrea. Looks real fancy. All them big buildings and clean sidewalks. Not like around here. But I bet them pigeons in Milan make just as much of a mess as the ones here. They say the store is big and got lots of space. I guess they need all that space for all them expensive things. One fella, said his name was Luna on the internet, he said the people workin’ there are real helpful. Good for him.

  • You wanna go there, you just look for Via Sant’Andrea 10. That’s what they say.
  • This Chanel store, it’s got everything. Clothes, shiny things, and smelly water.
  • They say it’s a “twin boutique.” Two stores in one, I reckon.
  • If you wanna know somethin’, call that number: 02 7788 6999.
  • That Luna fella says the people workin’ there are nice.

They got somethin’ called “services” too. To keep your Chanel stuff lookin’ new, I guess. Like they’ll fix it up for you if it breaks. You can even make an appointment, like it’s a doctor for your purse! And they opened this new store just last year, in November. Must be doin’ alright, I reckon, if they openin’ new stores.

Chanel Boutique SantAndrea Milan: Is It Worth a Visit? (Honest Review)

My granddaughter, she dreams of goin’ to Milan one day. Says she wants to walk down that Sant’Andrea street and look in all the fancy windows. Maybe even buy somethin’ from Chanel if she saves up enough. I told her, “Honey, you can dream all you want. But don’t go spendin’ all your money on fancy things. There’s more to life than Chanel, you know.”

But, I gotta admit, it all sounds kinda excitin’. A whole world out there, different from our little corner. Maybe one day, I’ll go with her to Milan. See that Chanel store for myself. Just to look, of course. I ain’t buyin’ nothin’. But it would be somethin’ to see, wouldn’t it? That fancy Chanel on Via Sant’Andrea 10. Sounds like a whole different world.

But, I still think, nothin’ beats a good pair of overalls and a comfy pair of shoes. Even if they ain’t Chanel. The best thing is to be happy, no matter what you are wearing. But if you like Chanel, that store in Milan seems to be a good one, people say it is good. If you ever go to Milan, just remember that address, Via Sant’Andrea 10. That’s all I know.
