Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with watches lately, especially the really fancy ones. I’ve been eyeing this Audemars Piguet, you know, the ones with the octagonal bezel? They’re just so cool.

So, I started my deep dive. First, I spent hours just looking at pictures online. I mean, hours. I wanted to see every angle, every dial variation, every strap option. It was intense.
Then, I tried to figure out which model I even liked. Royal Oak? Royal Oak Offshore? What’s the difference? I dug into forums and read tons of posts from other watch nerds. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
Getting More Serious
Once I had a better idea of what I was looking for, I started checking out prices. Ouch. These things are expensive. I compared prices on different websites, just to make sure I wasn’t getting ripped off. It was a bit of a reality check, for sure.
I decided to hit up a store where I can try one for the first time. I tried to choose a simple model.
- I asked many questions to the salesman.
- I tried one of them on my wrist.
- And finally, I took some pictures with my poor phone.
Finally, I took a step back, The watch looked amazing on my wrist. That’s all I wanted to do for today.
