So, I picked up these Air Max 90s. The white, blue, and red ones. Saw ’em somewhere, maybe online, maybe scrolling, can’t remember exactly. Just kinda felt like I needed ’em. You know how it is sometimes.

They arrived a few days later. Standard box, nothing fancy. Pulled them out. Man, they looked clean. That bright white upper, with the hits of blue and red. Real classic look. Reminded me of the old days, for sure. Maybe that’s why I bought them.
Putting them on
Slipped my feet in. Felt like an Air Max 90, you know? A bit chunky, solid. Not super soft right away, kinda stiff around the collar. But that’s expected, they need breaking in. Walked around the house a bit. Felt alright. Looked down, yeah, they looked good.
First time I wore them out properly, just went for a walk. Typical day. And guess what? Stepped right near a muddy patch someone left on the sidewalk. Didn’t go right in it, but got some splashback. On the white mesh part, of course. Right near the front.
Keeping them clean? Forget it.
Tried cleaning it later that day. Bit of soap, water, soft brush. Did my best. Got most of it off, but you can still see a faint mark if you look close. That’s the trouble with white shoes, right? Look amazing for about five minutes.
- They look sharp, really sharp when they’re box-fresh.
- The blue and red details are just right, not too much.
- But man, keeping that white clean is a job.
Honestly, sometimes I think, why do I keep buying white sneakers? It’s like setting yourself up for disappointment. But then you see them, all clean and bright, and you forget all the hassle. The shape of the 90 is just iconic, too. Can’t deny that.

So yeah, they’re in the rotation now. Still wear ’em. Just gotta be more careful where I walk. Bit annoying, but they look good. Can’t complain too much. They’re sneakers. They’re meant to be worn, right? Even if they get a bit beat up. That’s the story I’m telling myself anyway.
