I heard someone say, what’s the name of that shoe? What kind of Adidas looks like, looks like that Samba? I don’t know much about these things. But I heard people talking about it all the time. What kind of Adidas are these shoes? Let me tell you all about it.

What shoes look like Adidas Samba?
That Adidas Samba, it’s a real popular shoe. Everyone’s wearing them. But sometimes you want something a little different, you know? Maybe the same look, but not that exact shoe. Or maybe you want something cheaper. That Samba, it can cost a pretty penny! So many shoes look the same, there are shoes from New Balance, shoes from Nike, and also shoes from Reebok.
My neighbor’s kid, he’s always on about these shoes. He said there’s a bunch that look just like Samba. That’s what he called it, “Samba.” He’s got a pair, all white with those black stripes. Looks kinda fancy, I guess. But he was showing me some pictures on his phone, other shoes, you see. Said they’re cheaper, but look almost the same. Kid’s always trying to save a buck, that one.
There are shoes that look like Samba but have different names. What’s the name of that shoe? I can’t remember. But they are all from Adidas. I saw them, they all have that three stripe thingy on the side. But the front part, the toe, it’s different on some. And the bottom part, the sole, that can be different too. Some are flat, some are all bumpy. Depends on what you need them for, I reckon.
- Adidas Velosamba
- Adidas Gazelle
- Adidas Spezial
I saw a lady wearing them the other day, at the market. She had some on that looked like Samba, but they were all colorful. Pink and blue and green, all swirly. Asked her about them. She said they were a different kind of Adidas, can’t recall the name. But she said they were real comfy. That’s important, you know, comfortable shoes.
What are the best alternatives?
Now, if you’re looking for something that looks like Samba but ain’t Samba, there are options. That’s what I’m hearing, anyway. I don’t wear these fancy shoes myself, but I hear things. This young fella in town, he’s got a whole shop full of shoes. He was telling me about it.
He said there’s one called Adidas Velosamba. This one is good for riding a bicycle, it’s called cycling shoes. He said it’s real popular, especially the vegan ones, whatever that means. But it looks a lot like Samba, he said. Same kind of shape, same stripes. But the bottom is different, for gripping those pedals, I guess. You can wear them even if you don’t ride a bicycle. My nephew has a pair of them. They are very comfortable. I heard him say that they cost more than 100 dollars. Oh, that’s a lot of money.
Then there’s another one, Adidas Gazelle. That’s what he called it. That one, it’s more like the regular Samba, he said. But it comes in all sorts of colors. Bright ones, dark ones, even ones with patterns. And it’s a bit cheaper, too. He said a lot of folks like that one because it’s comfortable and you can wear it with anything. You can buy these shoes in the online shop.
And then there’s one more, Adidas Spezial. Now, this one, he said, it’s a little different. It’s got a bit more padding inside, he said. Makes it real soft on your feet. And the front part, the toe, it’s a bit wider. Good for folks with, you know, wider feet. My neighbor’s kid, he likes this one a lot. Says it’s the most like the Samba, but even better.
So there you have it. Three shoes that look like Adidas Samba, but they ain’t Samba. Velosamba, Gazelle, Spezial. Remember those names. They are good for sports, very fashionable. I don’t know much about fashion, of course. I just wear what’s comfortable. But if you’re looking for something like Samba, those are the ones to check out. You can find them at the store, or maybe even online. That young fella in town, he can probably tell you more. He’s the shoe expert, not me!
Now, I’m not saying these are the only shoes out there. There’s probably a whole bunch more. But these are the ones I hear folks talking about the most. And they all seem to like them. So, if you want something like Samba, but not Samba, give them a try. You might just find your new favorite shoe!
