Blossom by Jimmy Choo: Whats the Hype? Is It Worth Buying?

by Cornell Yule

So, I finally tried out this perfume everyone’s been talking about, Blossom by Jimmy Choo. Yeah, I’m a bit late to the party, but better late than never, right? I saw it all over the internet and in those fancy stores, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

I went to the store the other day, and there it was. I sprayed a bit on my wrist, just to see what the fuss was about. First thing I noticed? It’s super floral. Like, walking through a garden on a sunny day kind of floral. Not too strong, but definitely there. It’s got this fruity smell too, kind of exotic, which I guess is from those special fruits they put in it. I liked it, but I wasn’t like, “Wow, I need this now.”

  • First Impression: Nice, floral, a bit fruity.

But I decided to wear it for the whole day. And you know what? It really grew on me. It stuck around for hours, which is always a plus. I even got a couple of “You smell nice!” comments, which, who doesn’t love that? It changed a bit as the day went on, getting a little more… I don’t know, flowery? They say there’s frangipani in there, which is supposed to be the main floral note. I’m no expert, but it definitely smelled like a bouquet.

  • All Day Wear: Lasted a long time, got compliments.

I kept sniffing my wrist throughout the day because it was just so pleasant. It’s not overpowering, but it’s definitely noticeable. I think it’s one of those scents that makes you feel good, you know? Like, it lifts your mood a bit. I started to really enjoy it.

What’s the Deal with This Perfume?

From what I gathered, it’s supposed to be a “special edition,” which makes it sound fancy. And apparently, it’s based on another one of their perfumes, but with different fruits and flowers. Sounds like they swapped red berries for exotic fruits and cyclamen for frangipani. I don’t know much about that, but I can tell you it smells good.

  • Special Edition Stuff: Different from the original, fancy-sounding.

By the end of the day, I was sold. I went back and bought a bottle. I figured, why not? It’s a nice treat for myself. Plus, I wanted to keep smelling that lovely scent. It’s just one of those perfumes that makes you feel a bit more put together, even if you’re just in jeans and a t-shirt.

  • Final Verdict: Bought it, love it, makes me feel good.

So, yeah, that’s my experience with Jimmy Choo’s Blossom. It was a good one. If you like floral scents that aren’t too in-your-face, you might want to check it out. Just don’t blame me if you end up buying a bottle too!
