Okay, so today I was looking into something kinda random – who’s running the show at Shinola? You know, that brand with the fancy watches and other stuff? Yeah, so, turns out there’s been a bit of a switch-up in their leadership.
I started by just poking around online, trying to figure out who the current CEO is. It used to be Awenate Cobbina. I found some info saying that a guy named Steve Katzman, who is 61, is now in charge. He replaced Cobbina. Apparently, this happened just recently.
Change is happening
But that’s not all! It looks like there’s been a few changes at the top over at Bedrock Manufacturing Company. That’s the big boss company that owns Shinola and Filson – you know, the workwear brand.
- First, I read that Cobbina was named CEO of Bedrock Manufacturing Co., Shinola’s parent company, at the beginning of the year, on January 1st, to be exact.
- Then, I discovered that they’ve brought in Steve Katzman as the new CEO. I guess they really wanted to shake things up!
So, yeah, that’s pretty much the gist of it. It seems like Bedrock Manufacturing is making some moves, bringing in new people to lead the way. I just thought it was interesting to see how these companies change things up at the top. Who knows what kind of new stuff they’ll come up with now?
It’s like a little behind-the-scenes peek at the business world. Kind of like watching a movie about how companies are run. It makes me wonder what these new leaders will do differently. Will we see any big changes in Shinola’s products or Filson’s style? I guess only time will tell. Anyway, that’s all I dug up today. Just a little something I stumbled upon and wanted to share!
