Okay, so, I saw this look on Lisa from Blackpink, and I was like, “I gotta try that!” It’s kinda like a mix of that cool Western style and the softer Eastern look. So I grabbed all my makeup stuff and got to work.
First off, I prepped my skin. You know, the usual: cleanser, toner, moisturizer. Gotta have that smooth base, right? Then, I put on some primer, just to make sure everything stays put.
Next up, the foundation. I used a shade that’s pretty close to my skin tone, nothing too heavy. Just wanted to even things out a bit. Applied it with a damp beauty blender, because, you know, gotta get that airbrushed finish.
Concealer time! I dabbed a little bit under my eyes and on any spots that needed extra coverage. Blended that out with my finger, keeping it light and natural.
For the eyes, I started with a light brown eyeshadow all over my lids. Then, I took a darker brown and blended it into the crease, just to add some depth. This is where that Western vibe starts to come in, you see?
Then, I lined my eyes with a black liquid liner. I tried to keep it pretty thin, but I did a little flick at the end, just like Lisa’s. It was a bit tricky, not gonna lie, but I managed.
Mascara! Lots of it. Top and bottom lashes. Gotta get those Bambi eyes.
For the brows, I just filled them in lightly with a brow pencil. Didn’t want anything too harsh or unnatural. Just followed my natural shape.
Blush was next. I used a peachy pink shade and just dusted it on the apples of my cheeks. This is where that softer, Eastern style comes in. Keeps things looking fresh and youthful.
For the lips, I went with a rosy pink lipstick. Nothing too bright or bold. Just a nice, natural color that kinda matched the blush.
Finally, I set everything with a light dusting of setting powder. And that’s it! I think it turned out pretty good. I mean, I’m no makeup artist, but I definitely felt like a K-pop star for a minute there.
Here’s what I used:
- Foundation
- Concealer
- Light brown eyeshadow
- Dark brown eyeshadow
- Black liquid liner
- Mascara
- Brow pencil
- Peachy pink blush
- Rosy pink lipstick
- Setting powder
It was fun trying to recreate this look. Maybe next time I’ll try a different one! What do you guys think? Should I do more of these makeup experiments? Let me know in the comments!
