Okay, so, let’s talk about this Nest Madagascar Vanilla Perfume Oil I tried out. I’ve always been a sucker for vanilla scents. I mean, who isn’t? It’s like, the ultimate comfort smell. So, when I saw this one, I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

I went ahead and got myself a bottle. The packaging was pretty simple, nothing too fancy. The oil itself is clear and not too thick, which is good. I hate those oils that feel like you’re putting glue on your skin, you know?
First thing I did was put a little on my wrist. Just a tiny dab. And man, the smell! It’s definitely vanilla, but not that fake, sugary kind. It’s more like… warm and cozy. Like a vanilla bean pod, but with a little something extra.
- I read somewhere that it has a bit of vanilla orchid and a hint of coconut in it. I think I can smell that. It’s not overpowering, just a subtle sweetness that makes it really nice.
- I wore it around the house for a day, just to see how it lasted. It’s not super strong, which I like. Some perfumes are just way too in-your-face. This one is more like a whisper.
- I did notice that it lasted a decent amount of time. I could still smell it on my wrist after a few hours. It faded a bit, but it was still there.
After a few days I thought, I had to try layering it with a body lotion. So, I used my regular vanilla-scented lotion and then put a few drops of the perfume oil on top. That was a game-changer. The combination of the lotion and the oil made the scent last even longer, and it smelled even better. It was like a vanilla dream!
I even tried mixing it with another perfume I have. It’s a bit floral, and I thought the vanilla might go well with it. And you know what? It did! It added a warm, creamy note to the floral scent that was really interesting. The vanilla is like an aphrodisiac thing, making it all a bit more… sensual. It turned out to be a good combo, and it made me think about all the other perfumes I could try mixing it with. Now I’m thinking about maybe trying it with that Jo Malone one, the Vetiver & Golden Vanilla. I bet that would be amazing.
In all, I’m pretty happy with this Nest Vanilla Perfume Oil. It’s a simple, but really nice vanilla scent that’s perfect for everyday wear. It’s not too strong, it lasts a good amount of time, and it’s fun to mix with other things. If you’re into vanilla like I am, I’d say give it a try. You might just like it.
