- The big reseller websites are your friends (mostly). You can find legit pieces way below retail. BUT:
- Wildly different prices. Condition matters HEAPS. A flawless sailor top holds value way better than a faded one. Rarity matters too – unique vintage costs more.
- Gotta be patient and CHECK. Saw three identical perfume bottles listed within $20 of each other, different conditions. Saw the same model shirt priced $100 apart based purely on the seller’s mood, I swear. No consistency.
- Authenticity paranoia. Especially on the secondhand sites. Prices looking too good? Probably is. Learned to check seller reviews and zoom WAY in on photos.
