Okay so I really wanted that black sheer blouse from Zara you know? Started thinking about it last Wednesday while scrolling through Instagram stories. Saw some fashion influencer wearing it with leather pants and got obsessed. Thought maybe I could find it online quick – lol big mistake.
Checked Zara’s Site First Obviously
Opened up my laptop around coffee time yesterday morning. Went straight to the search bar on Zara website. Typed “black sheer blouse” and pressed enter. Expected to see that gorgeous see-through thing from their new collection. Zero results found. Refreshed three times like an idiot. Still nothing. Went manual through blouses category – nothing sheer at all. Total disappointment.
Panic Mode Activated
Started googling the description like crazy: “zara black transparent shirt women long sleeve”. Most sites just showed me regular black tops not that sheer style. Saw some blogs mentioning it’s from SS22 collection so… probably discontinued? Heart sank.
- Tried Amazon – nothing that looked like Zara quality
- Searched ASOS for similar items – all sold out or polyester crap
- Checked Mango’s website – they had some lace stuff but not the sheer vibe
- Even looked at secondhand apps but sizes were wild
Price Comparison Fail
Found two third-party sites claiming to have it! Got super excited until checking details. First site said $29.99 – obviously fake when Zara charges triple. Pictures looked stolen from Pinterest. Second site wanted $129 with $40 shipping from Indonesia. Delivery estimate was “45-60 business days”. Are you joking? Closed both tabs immediately.
End Result? Depressing
Spent like three hours total over two days searching. Called two actual Zara stores near me – both laughed saying that style’s been gone for months. Finally accepted defeat. Might try eBay alerts or something later. Lesson learned? If you see Zara item you love – buy that thing immediately because their stock disappears faster than ice cream in summer.
