Okay, so today I wanna share my experience with the FP Movement Biker Shorts. Let me tell you, it was a JOURNEY.

It all started when I saw these shorts on Insta. Everyone was rocking them, looking all cute and sporty. I thought, “Hey, I can do that!” So, I hopped online and ordered a pair in black. Figured black goes with everything, right?
The Ordering Process: The Free People website was easy enough to navigate. Found the shorts, picked my size (went with my usual size, fingers crossed), and added them to my cart. Checkout was smooth, no problems there. Shipping was surprisingly fast, like within a few days. Thumbs up for that!
The First Impression: When I pulled them out of the package, I was like, “Whoa, these feel NICE!” The fabric was thick and soft, definitely good quality. I tried them on immediately, and… they fit! Score! They were snug but not too tight, and the length was perfect – not too short, not too long. I did a little dance in front of the mirror, feeling pretty good about myself.
The First Workout: I decided to put them to the test with a HIIT workout. Big mistake. The shorts looked great, yes, but they kept riding up! Ugh. I was constantly pulling them down, which was super distracting and annoying. I also noticed that they weren’t as breathable as I’d hoped. I was sweating like crazy, and the shorts felt kinda damp.
Attempt Number Two: I wasn’t ready to give up just yet. I figured maybe the HIIT workout was too intense. So, I tried them again for a yoga class. This was a little better, but they STILL rode up a bit, especially during downward dog. Sigh.

Washing and Care: I washed them according to the instructions on the tag – cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. They came out looking fine, no shrinkage or fading. So, at least that’s a plus.
My Final Verdict on FP Movement Biker Shorts:
- Pros: Great quality fabric, comfortable (when not working out), cute style, good length.
- Cons: Ride up during workouts, not super breathable, a bit pricey.
Would I recommend them? Honestly, it depends. If you’re just looking for cute shorts to wear around town or for light activities like walking, then yeah, go for it. But if you’re planning on using them for intense workouts, I’d say maybe look for something else that’s designed for performance. I ended up wearing them more for lounging around the house, and running errands.
What I’d do differently next time: Maybe try a different size? Or look for a similar style with a silicone grip on the inside of the legs to prevent riding up. Live and learn, right?
