So, I was just kicking back the other day, and Lenny Kravitz popped into my head. You know how it is, one minute you’re thinking about what to have for dinner, the next you’re pondering random celebrity facts. And the question that lodged itself in my brain was, just how tall is Lenny Kravitz? He’s got this huge stage presence, always looks cool, but on screen, it’s hard to tell.
Naturally, I did what we all do: grabbed my phone and typed it in. Took all of five seconds. And bam, there it was. Turns out, Lenny Kravitz is 5 feet 7 inches tall. Or around 170 cm for those of you on that system. So, not a giant, not super short either. Pretty average, really.
But then, you know how these things go. You look up one thing, and then you see a link to something else, and down the rabbit hole you tumble. I started reading a bit more about him. It’s kinda wild. The dude’s pushing 60, or maybe he is 60 already, and honestly, he looks like he hasn’t aged in twenty years. I saw some stuff about his lifestyle. Apparently, he’s all about that plant-based diet, which, okay, a lot of folks are doing that now. But then I read he has this crazy disciplined exercise routine. Get this, he supposedly uses a coconut tree as a weight bench on his island. A coconut tree! Forget your fancy gym memberships, right? Just give the man a tree.
He also does a load of bodyweight stuff – squats, pull-ups, crunches. Basic moves, but clearly, they work for him. It got me thinking, it’s not always about having the most complicated setup; sometimes, simple and consistent is the way to go. And then there was this other stuff, more personal, about him choosing to be celibate again. Said something about his father’s infidelity making him want to change his own ways after his marriage to Lisa Bonet ended. That’s pretty deep, makes you realize everyone’s got their own journey and their own reasons for the paths they choose, no matter how famous they are.
It’s impressive how he’s stayed relevant for so long, over three decades. The music, the style, it’s all very… Lenny. And he seems to be doing it his own way, living this very particular life out in the Bahamas when he’s not touring.
So yeah, 5’7″. Just a number, really. But it’s funny how a simple question can lead you to learn a whole bunch of other interesting tidbits about someone. He definitely carries himself with a lot of confidence, which probably makes him seem taller than he is. Good on him, I say.
