Getting that Cashmere
Alright, let’s talk about this 100% cashmere sweater thing. The weather started turning, you know? That proper chill that gets in your bones. I was sick of those thin, kinda scratchy sweaters I had piling up. They look okay for a bit, then they pill like crazy or just feel… sad.
So, I thought, screw it, I’m gonna get a proper cashmere sweater. Like, 100% cashmere, none of that “blend” nonsense where it’s 5% cashmere and 95% wishful thinking. Easier said than done, lemme tell ya.
First, I hit the web. Just typed it in. Flooded with options. Prices all over the place. Some seemed way too cheap to be real cashmere. You see those deals, like fifty bucks for “100% Pure Cashmere,” and your brain just screams “Nope!”. Read some reviews, people complaining it felt rough or fell apart after washing. Yeah, figured.
Then I went to some actual stores. Department stores, smaller shops. Felt a few. Some were nice, super soft. But man, the price tags. We’re talking serious money for some of them. Made me think twice, you know? Is it really worth that much?
The Search Continued
I was getting a bit frustrated. It felt like finding a unicorn. You either pay a fortune, or you get something questionable advertised as the real deal. I wasn’t looking for some fancy designer label, just a solid, warm, genuinely 100% cashmere sweater that wouldn’t bankrupt me.

The Result
It arrived a few days later. Simple packaging. Pulled it out. Okay, first impression: definitely soft. Softer than anything I’d handled in the cheaper price range. It had a nice weight to it too, not flimsy.
Wore it the next day. Big difference. Just feels… good against the skin. Warm without being bulky or making me sweat indoors. It wasn’t itchy at all, which was a big plus for me.
