Alright, so the other day I was down a rabbit hole on the internet, you know how it goes, and I stumbled upon this question: what’s the longest train in the world? I got curious, so I decided to find out for myself.
First, I googled “longest train in the world.” Pretty straightforward, right? I figured I’d get a quick answer, but boy, was I wrong.
Digging Deeper
The initial results were all over the place. Some articles talked about passenger trains, others about freight trains. It was a mess! So, I decided to narrow my search.
I started by focusing on freight trains, because those seemed to be the real contenders for the title. I refined my search to “longest freight train.”
- I started looking at different types of freight trains.
- Then different countries operations.
- Look at how they calculated a train length.
I spent a good chunk of time reading articles, watching videos, and even looking at some railway company websites. My browser history was nothing but trains for a while!
Putting It All Together
After all that digging, I kind of pieced together what I think is a pretty good answer.
I realized It’s really tough to nail down one “longest” train, cause there are different ways to look at it.
But, after spending my time on this. I feel I can say I did some real searching on this topic.
