Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try out some older fragrances, and Liz Claiborne has always been on my radar. I mean, it’s a classic, right? So, I finally decided to take the plunge and explore their fragrance line. Here’s how it went down.

Getting My Hands on Some Samples
First things first, I didn’t want to commit to a full bottle of anything without sniffing it first. Smart move, I think. I hopped online and looked for some sample sets or decants. I found a place that had a bunch of different Liz Claiborne fragrances in little vials – perfect!
The Sniff Test Begins
Once the samples arrived, I was like a kid in a candy store. I decided to try one each day to really get a feel for them.
- Day 1: I started with the original Liz Claiborne fragrance. You know, the one in the triangle bottle. My first impression? Whoa, very floral! It felt kind of…vintage, but not in a bad way. It definitely had that 80s vibe. I sprayed it on my wrist and let it do its thing.
- Day 2: I moved on to something called “Curve.” This one was much more modern-smelling. It was kind of fruity and fresh, and I could definitely see myself wearing it more often.
- Day 3: I tired the “Mambo”.I felt that this one so warm and inviting.
- Day 4 and Beyond:I try out the “Bora Bora”,”Lucky You”and”Realities”.They are also good.
Wearing It Out and About
I started wearing the original Liz Claiborne fragrance and the “Curve” to see how they worked with my body chemistry and how long they lasted. The original definitely had staying power! I could still smell it faintly at the end of the day. “Curve,” being a bit lighter, needed a little reapplication, but I didn’t mind.
My Final Thoughts
Overall, this little Liz Claiborne fragrance experiment was a success! I discovered that I actually liked the original, even though it’s a bit “older” smelling. It felt kind of sophisticated and classic. “Curve” is definitely going to be a regular in my rotation, especially for daytime wear. I was so happy with my try.
