Okay, so today I decided to dive into the Comme des Garçons 25ss collection. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey!

First, I started by just browsing around. You know, I wanted to get a general feel for the collection. I scrolled through some runway photos and lookbook images. I wanted to see what the overall vibe was.
Initial Impressions
- Lots of interesting shapes and silhouettes.
- Definitely not your everyday wear.
- I was intrigued, but also a little intimidated.
Next, I tried to find some individual pieces that I liked. This was tougher than I thought! I spent a good hour just clicking through different websites, looking for something, anything, that I could picture myself maybe, possibly, wearing. I wanted to see the detials for every pieces
I found a few things that caught my eye – a deconstructed jacket, some oversized pants, and a really weird (but cool) shirt. But honestly, most of it was just…out there. I mean, I appreciate the artistry, but it’s not exactly practical.
Then, I thought, “Okay, let’s see how people are actually styling this stuff.” So I searched for some street style photos and blog posts. I wanted to see if real people were actually wearing these clothes, and if so, how.
And you know what? Some people really pull it off! They mixed the more avant-garde pieces with simpler items, and it actually looked pretty cool. I started to get some ideas… maybe I could incorporate some of these elements into my own wardrobe.

Finally, I decided to just take the plunge. I picked one piece – a black, asymmetrical top – and I’m going to try to style it. I’m thinking of pairing it with some simple black jeans and sneakers, just to keep it casual. I figure less is going to me more in this situation.
Wish me luck! I’ll let you know how it goes. It’s definitely a step outside of my comfort zone, but hey, that’s what fashion is all about, right? Experimenting and trying new things. We’ll see if I can actually make this work!
