I’ve always been a huge fan of BLACKPINK. I mean, who isn’t? They’re talented, stylish, and their music is so catchy. But lately, I’ve been wondering, who’s the most popular member? It’s like, they’re all amazing, but there’s gotta be one that stands out more, right?
So, I started digging around, trying to find some answers. It wasn’t easy, you know? Everyone has their favorite. But I found this interesting tidbit online: apparently, 42% of posts mentioning BLACKPINK members since 2016 talk about Lisa! 42%! That’s almost half! It’s crazy!
Based on that, it seems like Lisa is winning the popularity contest, at least online. I guess it makes sense. She’s super popular internationally, and even back in her home country, Thailand, she’s a big star. It got me thinking, what about the other members?
Then I remembered this poll I participated in a few days ago. It was cool because it separated the votes by male and female. It wasn’t a huge poll or anything, but here’s how it went: Jisoo got 43%, Jennie got 25%, and I don’t even remember the percentage that others got. So, that’s a whole different story. Now, I guess that the polls are not quite accurate. It is mentioned online that Jisoo is the least biased member since Blackpink’s debut, so I guess that she is the most popular one among the members.

- I also stumbled upon something about Rosé. Did you know she hit the highest-ever position on the Billboard Hot 100 for a female K-pop act? It was for her song “APT” back in January 2024. That’s pretty awesome, right?
So, after all this, what’s the conclusion? I don’t think there is an accurate answer. Honestly, it’s hard to say who’s the most popular. Lisa seems to be the most mentioned online, at least in my findings. And Rosé is killing it on the charts. Jisoo is popular among the members. They’re all so talented and bring something unique to the group. I guess it really comes down to personal preference. But hey, it’s fun to think about, right?
