Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “prom 1960” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started out pretty clueless, just poking around and seeing what I could find.

Getting Started
First thing I did was just a basic search. I wanted to see what was already out there, you know? Get a feel for the landscape. I found a few things, some old photos, a couple of articles, but nothing that really gave me the whole picture.
Digging Deeper
So, I decided I needed to get more specific. I started looking for things like:
- Yearbooks: Figured these would be a goldmine for photos and maybe some stories.
- Newspaper archives: You never know what you might find in the local news from back then.
- Personal blogs or websites: Sometimes people have family history stuff online, and that can be super helpful.
It was slow going, I’m not gonna lie. Lots of dead ends and rabbit holes. But I did find a few interesting tidbits. For example,I found the picture with good quality of a group of people, which look so good!
Putting it Together
Then came to collect all that information, try to piece it * began to generate a complete picture of the social environment at that time.
I used a simple text file to put together my search *’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.
